  • PCC moves to remote instruction

Due to the current surge in COVID-19 cases in our service areas, the PCC administration is taking several steps to minimize any risk to our students and employees. All changes will take effect beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10.

    Remote learning and working:

    • All campuses and sites will move to remote instruction through the end of the semester and most employees will work remotely. There will be some exceptions.
    • The return of specific CTE classes and labs will be reconsidered on a case-by-case basis after the Thanksgiving break.
    • Students should log in to D2L to get specific class information from their instructors.
    • Students who do not have home Internet access can make an appointment with the PCC Library to use technology or check out a computer. Call 719-549-3305 (Pueblo), 719-296-6101 (Fremont) or 970-564-6201 (Southwest).

    Campus operations

    • The college is not closed. Instruction and student services will continue to be provided remotely. Students will still be able to speak with an advisor and register for spring classes. Students may also call 719-549-3200 or do a live chat located on PCC’s homepage of our website.
    • Doors to campus buildings will be locked. Employees will be able to enter by using their PCC badge.
    • The cashier’s office will remain open by appointment. Email cashier@pueblocc.edu or call 549-3212.
    • The bookstore remains open. Students may contact the bookstore online or by calling 719-549-3065.
    • Any student or employee who tests positive for COVID-19 should continue to report that information to the college. Employees should report to the Human Resources office and students should report to Student Services. For more information about testing locations, please contact your local health department.

Students, faculty and part-time instructors should check D2L and their college email accounts regularly for updates.

    COVID-19 Resources

During the 2020-21 academic year, some or all of the instructional formats may change due to an emergency situation affecting college operations, public safety, or public health, including the COVID-19 pandemic. Tuition and fees are charged at the beginning of the semester and will remain in place regardless of any changes in instructional format. Tuition and fees will not be refunded in the event the curriculum delivery format changes for any part of the 2020-21 academic year.
  • Remote Advising & Enrollment Support

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, PCC is limiting the number of people on campus by providing college services remotely so students and prospective students can receive assistance from home. Visit our Remote Student Services page for more information.
