Construction Skills Training
To promote careers in the construction industry, the Colorado Attorney General’s Office has partnered with Pueblo Community College with a COPERR (Colorado Partnership for Education and Rural Revitalization) grant. The goal of this grant is to help fix the blighted housing in the community and to prepare students with basic construction skills training. This partnership will provide participants with an opportunity to learn a skill set that is transferable across all construction trades. Participants who successfully complete this training program will earn a Certificate of Completion, an OSHA 10-hour certification, and will be connected to local employers who are looking to grow their workforce.
