Why PCC?
PCC’s Automotive Service Technology faculty has extensive dealership and independent experience in automotive repair and parts sales. Faculty members are trained technicians with expertise in the automotive industry. The diverse background of our faculty includes technicians who are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, brakes, advanced drivability, automatic and manual transmissions, and light diesel repair.
As an ASE-certified program, our labs meet the highest national standards for technical training in the automotive service industry. We offer advanced hands-on training with state-of-the-art equipment. Our industry partners provide new training vehicles, internships and mentoring opportunities for our future technicians.
Snap-On Tools and Matco Tools allow students to participate in student excellence programs and receive significant student discounts for hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
PCC’s partnerships with Subaru and Ford allow all students to complete each company’s web-based training programs as part of our basic curriculum.
