Pueblo Community College announced the winners of its Spring 2026 Student Art Show at a May 8 reception.
Students submitted original pieces in seven categories – 3D design, ceramics, design and multimedia, drawing, figure drawing, jewelry and painting. Awards went to the first-, second- and third-place finishers in each category as well as honorable mentions.
PCC's Fine Arts, Humanities & Media Communications department presented the exhibition.
PCC President Chato Hazelbaker selected two paintings for the President’s Purchase Award, each of which will be part of the college’s permanent collection: “Rind over Matter” by Catlin Bonicelli and “Color Me Blind” by Mia Padilla.
Anna Harbert’s figure drawing, “Making a Muse,” was named best of show. Juror’s choice went to Jolanda Burris for the painting “Tower” and Piper McQueen won chair’s choice for the drawing “Meep.”
