Advanced Paramedic Practitioner

Why PCC?

PCC’s fully online Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Advanced Paramedic Practice is designed for certified paramedics who have completed an associate degree in Emergency Medical Services or Paramedicine from an accredited college and wish to continue their education and obtain a bachelor’s degree. Our program lets you build on the paramedic experience you have gained by offering a bachelor’s degree that gives you full credit for your paramedic education. 

Our experienced instructors provide a student-centered online learning environment designed to enhance career opportunities. You will engage in self-directed learning activities and gain specialized knowledge in critical care, community and behavioral paramedicine. Arrangements for the clinical component of the program can be made in the area where you live.

If you are a paramedic but do not yet have your AAS degree, contact us. In most cases, we can award credit for a noncredit paramedic program and quickly get you on your way toward a bachelor’s degree. 

What will I learn?

This degree will focus on mental health care, community paramedic and critical care paramedic and will prepare you to take the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC) exams for community paramedic certification and critical care paramedic certification.

You will focus on patient care in specialized areas and learn the skills you need to be successful.
