The Wildland Firefighter program will provide you with a solid foundation in theory and application of wildland fire suppression concepts.
Each of our instructors has at least 10 years of experience in the fire service and specialized real-world expertise in the topics they teach.
This certificate will provide you with training that exceeds the minimum requirements for prospective wildland firefighters as established by the National Fire Protection Association and the National Wildfire Coordinating Group.
Courses are offered through traditional classroom instruction, independent study and hands-on training in conjunction with local fire departments.
