Spring 2024 Student Art Show

The Pueblo Community College Spring 2024 Student Art Show features work by more than two dozen talented students. A May 3 reception provided an opportunity for PCC staff and students, as well as community members, to recognize the artists and their creations.

The exhibit is presented by the Fine Arts, Humanities & Media Communications department. Entrants submitted work in six categories – ceramics, photography, painting, drawing and figure drawing, design and multimedia, and jewelry.
Awards were given for first, second and third place in each category, as well as honorable mention. Additional recognition went to the best of show, juror’s choice and chair’s choice award recipients. PCC President Patty Erjavec selected the President’s Purchase Award to become part of the college’s permanent collection.

The exhibit is open to the public through May 7 in the San Juan Gallery (SJ-205) on the second floor of the San Juan building. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and admission is free. Parking is available in the adjacent lot on Marilyn Place.

The virtual gallery can be visited anytime. In addition to the current exhibition, it contains the spring and fall student shows from 2020-2023.
