There are a number of reasons to take advantage of summer classes at Pueblo Community College, especially after the challenges of last year. It’s a great time to consider what summer classes could do for you:
It’s true! Year-round Pell grants are available to use in the summer. The Federal Pell Grant Program allows eligible students to receive up to 150% of their scheduled Pell Grant offer, also known as Year-Round Pell. This allows students who were enrolled full time in both the fall and spring semesters to receive an additional grant offer in the summer semester. Please contact the financial aid office with questions regarding your eligibility.

The 2023 graduate of PCC’s surgical technology program is preparing for her first big move – to North Carolina, where she was offered a position at Duke Regional Hospital. The facility is part of the renowned Duke University Health System.
Anger got the job the same day she interviewed for it.
“I was over the moon,” she said. “I feel like that is where I should be.”
University students can take classes at PCC that can help their GPA and give them that little extra assistance in those harder classes. Many of our general education classes are guaranteed to transfer to public Colorado universities and other institutions (be sure to ask to ensure transferability).
