Nursing Skills Lab

Training the Next Generation of Care

A Unique Learning Environment

A standout feature of our Nursing Lab—uniquely housed in the former Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of St. Mary-Corwin Hospital. Once the epicenter of critical, life-saving care, this historic ICU has been thoughtfully transformed into a cutting-edge educational space that retains the gravity and realism of its past.

Hands-On, Real-World Training

Within this authentically designed environment, students participate in nursing skills labs, honing their clinical techniques using the latest simulation technology. The Nursing Lab’s realistic setting bridges the gap between classroom theory and real-world practice, empowering students to build confidence and competence before entering clinical placements.

Interdisciplinary Learning

While the primary focus is on nursing education, the lab also supports hands-on training for other allied health programs, including:

This interdisciplinary approach ensures that all students benefit from a comprehensive, collaborative, and immersive learning experience.
